I’ve been a choral singer for most of my life, and at some point I took up wedding singing. In fact, my work publicising concerts and running choral festivals is where my interest in marketing and event management originally came about. It’s all very intertwined.
In my singing career, I’ve since sung as part of a classical trio, a jazz trio, solo/duo/trio with playback, a soloist with a big band, choir, small vocal ensemble, and every combination in between.
I’ve sung for big festivals, private parties, wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, in lots of French Chateaux (including one owned by Sting!), in the London Guildhall, and in most of Australia’s biggest churches and theatres.
Now that I’ve finished having babies and moving countries, I’d really like to get back into singing properly again. If I can’t find some girls to start another vintage trio with I might just have to do it solo. 🙂
As a trio, we did classical, Andrews Sisters, Puppini Sisters, Motown and more. Solo, I have a repertoire that covers all sorts of random styles, and I can sing anything from tenor to soprano — mainly I prefer vocals in soprano, though.
During the 2020 lockdowns, I got involved in a number of interesting online projects, including The Mikado, Trial By Jury, Adiemus, The Armed Man, Iolanthe, a gigantic massed singing of Laudate, lots of group sings on Smule, and more. It was great!
My voice sounds best singing works by Andrews Sisters, Puppini Sisters, Vera Lynn, Kylie Minogue, Sia, ABBA, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Dido, Tori Amos, George Michael, Kate Bush, Eurythmics, Adele, Shakira, Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Madonna, Sting, Eva Cassidy, Donna Summers, and Diana Ross.
After moving to the UK I didn’t have the connections to sing as part of a trio anymore, and I focused on marketing work instead. But you’ll still find me making a nuisance of myself in karaoke bars on occasion, and I’m open to singing with any semi-professional or professional ensemble — especially for weddings and events.
I’ve currently taken up with the Ipswich Gilbert and Sullivan Society, so expect to see some fun results there!
Video Showcase
I’m singing second soprano and doing the first solo in each of these next two videos:
(Also, despite doing this a long time, these are the only half-decent recordings I have — sorry!)
More Videos With Friends
These videos are fun, but not really a good showcase — sorry!

Music Lists
Cocktail & Dinner Music
I like to keep things light while people are having cocktails or eating their meals.
After Dinner Music
When things start to warm up I move into a mid-tempo set, which is still not too loud.
Dancing & Party Music
Later in the evening, we can get stuck into some real dance music, rock & roll and party anthems to sing along to.
Everything Playback
Below is a list of repertoire that is concert-ready, including already owning the playbacks. Obviously, though, that’s not all I have up my sleeve. 🙂
